About Hiram Crespo

Hiram Crespo is the founder/editor of Society of Friends of Epicurus and the author of Tending the Epicurean Garden. He’s been featured in The New Humanism (a publication of Harvard University’s humanist chaplaincy), The Humanist (a publication of the American Humanist Association), Humanist Life (a publication of the British Humanist Association), occupy.com, the online classics journal EidolonPartially Examined Life, The Secular Web, Europa Laica, Ateistas PR, and many other outlets. He also writes the Filozofia Bankedo column for europano.info, an Esperanto-language portal of the European Community.

Hiram speaks four languages (English, Spanish, French and Esperanto) and graduated with high honors from a Bachelor of Arts in Interdisciplinary Studies at Northeastern Illinois University.
