Happy Twentieth! – “The Uncuttables”

Happy 20th to Epicureans everywhere! Recently, a friend referred us to the BBC documentary Life and Death in Herculaneum–which I recommend to all interested in life in and around the villa of the papyri.

Another Earth-like exoplanet was recently discovered, as predicted by Epicurus in his Epistle to Herodotus when he expounded the details of the doctrine of innumerable worlds.

We also celebrated World Philosophy Day on November 16, and the Literature and History Podcast published its episode number 45, titled “The Uncuttables: Lucretius’ On the Nature of Things and Epicurean Philosophy” in celebration of WPD.

Last Year’s 20th:

Shall We Banish the Ego?
